After reading the reviews about Box Choice and before considering joining Box Choice I emailed them with a couple of questions.
To date I have received no reply or even an automated response.
I have emailed them twice since, each time with the same result.
Needless to say I have not subscribed to them.
I will leave potential Box Office subscribers to decide whether it is worth joining them and whether they are reliable. |

Tried to cancel subscription before the end of the 14 day free trial because they sent 2 DVD's which were never on our list and three weeks later still not heard anything after numerous emails sent. Will probably get charged too. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. |

Same story. Signed up for "free trial" and was immediately charged £25.95. Sent email to customer service, no response. Two weeks later, still no DVDs, sent another email, no response. A week later, threatened with legal action, still no response, still no DVDs. Cancelled account a week before next payment was due and they still took it (via WorldPay, which will not assist in disputes with vendors). So now I'm out £50 and have not received a single DVD. These people should be ashamed of themselves. |

This is by far the worst online rental company I have ever come across. The discs take over 10 days to arrive and despite cancelling my account 15 days in advance, I was still charged £17 for the next month. I sent several e-mail complaints and recieved no reply. A total bunch of robbing cowboys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. |

I wish I read this a lot sooner. I joined boxchoice in october. I paid for two games at any one time but i am down to one now which i refuse to send back until i am refunded 2 months subscription. I have also emailed to tell them that I had sent game back but it was still listed as viewing on the list. I received a reply a month later telling me that the game had been returned and they would change it on the list and send me my next title but they didn't do either. I then received another e-mail saying they were looking into it. I have tried to contact them by phone but no one ever answers. Steer clear!!!!! |

I did pay for the games rental, I have 15 title on my rental queue and after a week I got 1 game and it is givim error i can't play it.....

Joined & cancelled within a week once I realised they had debited my credit card for a "free trial". That was in June 2004 & guess what..........
I'm still waiting for a refund despite many emails & phone calls.

Appalling company that must be avoided at all cost!
Customer service is a joke - the company still owe me £14.99 and despite having called them on over 12 separate occasions by phone asking to speak to a supervisor , I am still waiting for someone to call me back.
All I have had including the free trial is 1 DVD - I could have bought it and still had change! |

AVOID. Despite having over 20 titles in my list I only ever have a maximum of 2 or 3 dvd's on loan at any one time despite paying for 5. Not worth £40. Worst of all no response to my emails so I send 2 email to cancel my membership and no response. I'm just waiting for them to try to bill me for another month. I'll take it up with my credit card company if they do. |

i agree dont use this company!!...they will take your money and not refund it. they have excuses a plenty for their "company"
it took me weeks to get a refund and that was only when i threatened them with legal action. If you still havent got your refund, im compiling a list for "watchdog" if you want to be added to it please contact them. |

This has got to be the worst DVD rental company ever. I tried the free trial I cancelled 6 days before the end of it I had NO items on rental at the time. I did not get my £20 that they took from me at the start, they said that I returned an item after the free trail had ended. I had NO items on load at the time, They could not tell me the name on the item that was late. I have tried to email them times but no answer, when I phone them they say that their computer system is down. Never ever use this company, they are a joke and they WILL take your money. AVOID!!!! |

I tried the free (so they say) 14 day trial, 2 days after I had signed up I received a game that was not in my queue. I cancelled, but they still haven't refunded the 20GBP they took from my credit card. I've e-mailed them several times asking for a refund but so far have had no luck. AVOID! |
