I think V2direct has a lot going for it, turn around time is great even though I am in Melbourne, I usually get the new releases the same day they come out, and you can see what is available and move it into position as you wish, unlike Bigpond who absolutely suck at sending you the dvd's in the order you request (even if it states available now)
The only thing I have against V2direct is that is website is unacessible a LOT of the time. Other than that I have been very happy with V2. |

turnaround times are great with v2direct, although the website design sucks a bit, and can only be used with internet explorer. with these guys i have had 4 dvds (so far) go missing and one turned up snapped in half. and there is a bug with their site, if you add over a hundred dvds into your list it can forget the entire list.
dvd selection is average
all in all i wouldn't stay a customer of theirs if the turnaround times weren't so good. |

How long exactly is a short wait? I think the secret to getting a new release whilst the movie in question is 'still' in fact a new release is to queue up at least 6 new releases as your 1,2,3,4,5 and 6th choice. If you don't you could end up waiting a very long time..... |

This is by far the worst company of the lot. The website is simple, lacks many features other companies have and a small collection of movies, and .. Ooh, don't even bother signing up! |

Well, I did get a return phone call the next day from V2 in response to my message, so that's a definite plus. Unfortunately so far they claim not to be able to vary the 90 day till expiry policy on the credit card, blaming it on Verisign. I have been promised that they will look into that and get back to me, so we'll see.... |

Tried to sign up for this service, but they don't accept Amex cards, and neither will they accept my Visa card because its expiry date is less than 90 days in the future! Since I won't get a new card till about a week before the old one expires, it makes it kind of hard to do business with them. The site (as much as I have seen) is badly designed, and the terms and conditions are phrased in an oddly pedantic, confrontational way (like their credit card policy). I called their help telephone (after hours) and got an answering machine. A shame, because I like the idea of dealing with a local (Brisbane) operation.

Re: Stephen - I haven't bagged them out of hand, I just found that the postage times and service for QuickFlix, HomeScreen or Fetchme wasn't as good as V2Direct. I've tried most of the services listed on this site and have stuck with V2Direct! My only connection to them is that I'm a paying customer of V2Direct and loving it! |

John-- you wouldn't be tied up with V2Direct by any chance?- I notice that you've bagged Quickflix and Homescreen out of hand. |

From the companies I've tried, V2Direct is pretty much the best. Very friendly customer service, the best range of DVDs, and SUPER fast postage for QLD users!!! |

I love V2 Direct! They have the BIGGEST collection of movies, as well as Games and X-Rated DVDs (unlike the rest). The best by far! |
